WHAT IS INFERTILITY ?

Infertility is defined as failure of conception within one or more years ofregular unprotected intercourse. Generally, couples conceive within the firstyear, and around 7% of couples conceive in the second year.

Primary infertility : Denotes patients who have never conceived.
Secondary infertility: Denotes a previous pregnancy but failure ofconception thereafter.
